How QANTRA Event Networking Works
From a tap or QR scan to an explicit event connection and measured organizer reporting.
1. What is QANTRA?
QANTRA is an NFC-powered event networking technology platform for business conferences, corporate summits, and startup events. Attendees open professional profiles with NFC or QR, then explicitly connect after sign-in and event setup. Organizers refresh metrics from recorded event activity.
2. How does NFC and QR contact exchange work?
At event check-in, attendees receive an NFC-enabled badge or wristband. When two attendees meet, one taps their badge against the other's smartphone (or scans a backup QR code). The phone instantly opens the attendee's public event profile on the web.
3. Do attendees need to download a mobile app?
No. QANTRA operates entirely on standard web browsers (iOS Safari, Android Chrome). Attendees tap and interact instantly without searching app stores or downloading native software.
4. How are attendee contact details protected?
Public event profiles display professional fields such as name, event role and company, goals, interests and LinkedIn. Sensitive contact information such as phone numbers and work emails are protected and shown only through an authorized event connection when the owner has enabled the relevant sharing switch. Email and phone sharing initially default to off; there is no request-approval inbox.
5. What is "My Network"?
"My Network" is an attendee's digital event contact book. Every connection made during an event is automatically saved, allowing attendees to retrieve their current event connections while event access and retention rules permit. Event data is deleted at the configured expiry.
6. What can event organizers measure on the dashboard?
The organizer dashboard reads recorded first connections, connected attendees, and separate public and member profile views when opened or refreshed. Reports show the measurement window and cutoff; they do not prove physical meetings, revenue or ROI.
