1. Introduction
QANTRA ("we", "us", or "our") operates a specialized B2B event-networking technology platform designed to make professional networking frictionless for attendees and measurable for event organizers. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data when you interact with our platform — whether as an attendee, an event organizer, or a visitor to this website.
We process personal data in compliance with Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, and with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where it applies to individuals located in the European Economic Area.
2. Data Controller & Contact
The primary data controller (responsable du traitement) for central platform accounts, website visitor data, and direct inquiries is QANTRA.
For any privacy request, data access inquiry, or compliance concern, contact us at: info@getqantra.com
3. Controller vs. Processor Roles
QANTRA acts as a Data Controller for: platform account credentials, website visitor logs, and direct contact inquiries submitted via this website.
For event-specific attendee data — including attendee lists provided by organizers and networking records specific to a given event — the Event Organizer acts as Data Controller. In this context, QANTRA acts as a Data Processor (sous-traitant) and processes attendee data solely as instructed by the organizer and as necessary to deliver the agreed networking services.
4. What Data We Collect
Attendee event profiles: Professional information provided by the attendee or the organizer to populate the event profile (e.g., name, title, organization). This is the data visible on the attendee's public event profile card when their badge is tapped.
Connection records: Timestamps and identifiers of connections made between attendees during an event. These records are used to power organizer dashboards and each attendee's "My Network" view.
Platform account data: Email address and credentials used to log into the QANTRA organizer dashboard or attendee account.
Website inquiry data: Name, email address, and message content submitted via the contact form on this website.
NFC tokens: Physical NFC badges contain zero personal data. Each badge carries only an opaque routing token of the form app.getqantra.com/t/{token}. Personal information is never written to or stored on the physical badge hardware.
5. Contact Protection & Privacy-by-Design
Public event profiles display basic professional details as configured for the event. Phone numbers and email addresses are never publicly broadcast and are only accessible according to mutual connection rules and the attendee's sharing settings. QANTRA does not sell attendee data under any circumstances.
6. Hosting & Data Transfers
The QANTRA platform and website are hosted using cloud infrastructure including Vercel (CDN and web hosting) and Supabase (database services). Data may be processed on servers located outside Morocco. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we apply appropriate safeguards in accordance with the requirements of the CNDP (Commission Nationale de contrôle de la Protection des Données à caractère Personnel) under Moroccan Law No. 09-08, and where GDPR applies, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms.
7. Your Rights
Under Moroccan Law No. 09-08 (Articles 5–9) and GDPR (Articles 15–22) where applicable, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection with respect to your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, or to request deletion of your account data, contact us at info@getqantra.com.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when the current version was last updated. Continued use of the platform following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
